Bill Lewis

Bill joined the Rosedale Gilbert and Sullivan Society in 1993 after answering an advertisement in the local press seeking male singers. He joined Opera Nova in 2005 and has performed in many of their concerts. The role of Escamillo which he made his own in Nova's Love Sex and Death programme was revived in 2011's Opera It's One Big Party. In 2013’s The Magical Voyage, he gave a show-stopping performance of Stars from Les Miserables and become the rather acerbic Father Melitone in Verdi’s La Forza del Destino. Having portrayed King Nebuchadnezzar in Verdi’s Nabucco he will be portraying a variety of roles in the 2015 programme including the mighty Falstaff.
