David Curtis has had the privilege of working with some of the North East's best amateur talents in a variety of settings including drama, musicals, opera and oratorio. As well as singing he also enjoyed acting as Musical Director and Stage Director with a number of societies and was Opera Nova's Chorus Master for four years at the turn of the century! Particular highlights with Opera Nova were as The Ferryman (Curlew River) in a tour of Northern Cathedrals and churches, and as Papageno (The Magic Flute). He counts himself blessed in having been able to tackle all his favourite Mozart baritone roles in good company. Reprising The Count (The Marriage of Figaro) is a very special treat.
