Lucie Nicholson joined Opera Nova as a mezzo-soprano in 2011 and has performed a varied repertoire since then. Her roles have included Mercedes (Carmen), Zerlina (Don Giovanni), and Marcelina in extracts from The Marriage of Figaro. She studied Music and English Language at University of Hradec Kralove in the Czech Republic, and after relocating to the UK, she decided to develop her voice as a classical singer under the guidance of Carol Andrew, Vesta Biddiscombe and Penny Randall-Davies. Opera Nova combines her two loves - classical music and acting.
